So, I don't know about you guys...but I'm the type of fan who loves to read sad endings. Whether it be 'angst, death, betrayal, or even more betrayal'...I like them. I don't know, I mean...happy endings are great and all, but...Happy endings are best when they're bittersweet... That sums it up, don't you think? I like to add a pinch or a ton of reality.

Anyway, this is one of the first Hetalia related stories that is related to a mental disorder that I've written / worked with. This was a request from VentusOtoXIII I apologize for differing a bit from the plot, I sort of wanted to take this and make it huge. Pardon my rampant creativity.
I have many other stories to work on but this one has made it the farthest in progress so I decided to go ahead and post it. I alos haven't edited most of the grammar, forgive me.
ONE LAST THING! I don't think reader inserts are allowed on fanfiction.com (I may be wrong, someone correct me if I am.) Therefore, if they aren't, which Hetalia character could you see in the situation as the reader. I'm thinking about replacing the reader with a character so I can post this on fanfiction. Lastly, the character DOES NOT have to be "canon" with America in order for this to work. Seriously. I think I might kill anyone who says it should be Britain. But, children, don't be afraid to suggest.

I really like how you've portrayed the reader and explained the D.I.D- dissociative identity disorder. I actually have a fairly bad and not very common version of it, in fact I have 15 diffrent personalities in my head in cluding the original me and I find it difficult to explain the disoder to people some times, but this story makes perfect sense to me and I would love to read more of it.
