Essence.- Spain x Reader
In every mortal soul, there is essence. There is a kind of emotion, a kind of fire kindled from the moment someone is really born. Well, let’s talk about born.
Not biologically born, but the first time you actually feel essence. It can happen at any time, although it usually happens when somebody is still a child. Essence is always there (even after you die) but the fire itself is not lit until you have lived. Essence is essentially life, and life isn’t measured by however many times you breathe- it’s about how many times your breath is taken away.
Some people have had essence their whole lives, and do not need food or w

Chapter 3: The Dream Journal
((Kuro's POV))
Kuro sighed and leaned back on the bed, cradling (Y/n) close to his chest. Since the event a few weeks ago, he had been basically glued to her side, never wasting a moment to head her direction as soon as the sun set. So far, no incidents like the last one had occurred, but just to be safe Kuro had pushed the boundaries on when he could visit her, even going so far as to wait in the ally beside her house before the sun had finished setting.
Sighing again, Kuro shifted his wing into a better position and in doing so he knocked a heavy object off the bedside table and ont

She had always been a messy sort of person.
The tangles of her hair brushed his skin in a way that he couldn’t describe. Smudges of charcoal stained her fingertips, and her clothes were often splattered with paint. She was strange in her own way—she loved herself even with the full bottle of sleeping pills under her bed, and sh

“The loneliest moment in someone’s life is when they are watching their whole world fall apart, and all they can do is stare blankly.” ― F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby
You little cheater. Reader-chan is such a hard person to write for anyway, and now reader-chan is a cheater? Meh, reader-chan is just like Daisy. Doesn't know what she has.
So, if you all couldn't tell, I've recently read and watched The Great Gatsby. Needless to say, it was one of the greater reads and films. Title is inspired by it. Also, I watched Howl's Moving Castle last night and I think I'm going to associate Howl somehow with Spain or Italy. I'd like to do that, sort of as a secret crossover. Heh.
I wish I could set a Hetalia story in the roaring twenties, man, that'd be a blast to write.
Anyway, this was a request from I hope you enjoy it even though the reader is a bad person. Francis is a bad person too. Poor little Antonio. I just laugh because she loves Francis. Heh.
Let me know your thoughts! I have not edited this so it may be a little rough. I'll come back and edit sometime tomorrow, it's 04:00 right now and it's too late for this. -.- Sorry for the vulgar language! Not even a lemon and here goes the language... Also, this story may have too much riding on it, being inspired by such a great film. I think The Great Gatsby changed my life in an oh so subtle way.
THERE WILL BE A SECOND PART.
Part two:
Spain, France, and Hetalia (c)
"The Great Gatsby" (c) F. Scott Fitzgerald
Plot and story-line (c)

Blind!SpainxReader - A Beautiful Little Fool Pt. 2
The morning light stung your eyes as Antonio tossed about in the warm place beside you. You brought a hand up to your face to shield yourself from the light and whispered to the more than obviously awake Spaniard, “Toni?”
“Yeah?” His voice was groggy with sickness and he sounded incredibly sore.
“Are you okay?”
Before he could answer you, he had gotten up and slammed the bathroom door. He was having another one of his spells, where he would get flulike symptoms from a common cold. You wondered how he stood those dreadful bouts of ailing to two dominating sicknesses: stuffed sinuses and puking.
